HeadlineX processes personal data only to the extent required to operate the web app and provide its functions. The app does not use tracking tools, analytics, advertising technologies, or U.S.-based services.

Cookies used by HeadlineX are strictly functional.

3. Hosting

The service is hosted on servers located in the European Union. A data processing agreement (DPA) under Art. 28 GDPR exists with the hosting provider.

4. Server Log Files

The hosting provider automatically collects and stores technical log data when the site is accessed, including:

• IP address
• Date and time of access
• Requested URL
• Browser and OS information
• Referrer (if provided)
• HTTP status code

Data are used only for security and stability. They are not matched with other data sources.

Retention: typically 7–14 days.

5. Cookies

HeadlineX uses only essential cookies required for functionality, for example session handling or UI state. No marketing or analytics cookies are used.

Except for the optional Ko-fi widget, no data is transferred to third countries. HeadlineX does not use Google Analytics, Google Fonts (remote), social media plugins, external CDNs, or advertising networks.

The website and app use SSL/TLS encryption to protect data in transit.

Under GDPR, users have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, object to processing, and request data portability.
